5 Favorite Things Friday

From hats and maxi’s to purses and floral dresses, this is a recap of all the accessories and clothing items I am lusting for this week. Click on the images below to view the products in detail.

1. Never Felt This Way Hat, ModCloth, $24.99. This is a very versatile hat that will dress up any outfit.
   
2. Printed Chiffon Skirt, Free People, $78. I love the sheer floral print of this maxi skirt. It’s great for summer.
   
3. Floribunda Terrain Floral Dress, Lulu’s, $38. This flirty frock is a romantic piece to wear when the weather turns warm.
   
4. Winter Kate by Nicole Richie Passenger Dress in Hibiscus Floral, Singer 22, $285. This is my splurge item of the week. I love how the red pops against Nicole’s skin. This dress is definitely lust worthy.
   
5. Vintage Red Quilt Bag, ModCloth, $29.99. How amazing is this bag? You need to be on your toes for the vintage bag finds at ModCloth. They are so gorgeous and get scooped up fast!

5 Favorite Things Friday

Here are my must have items of the week! I love them all, so I’m really at a loss for which I will choose.

1. Viscose Viole Slip Dress, Free People, $68. I just love this slip dress. It has a very bohemian, airy feel. I would love to wear this out to lunch on a warm, breezy day or even to an outdoor music festival.                
2. Wavebreak Smocked Tube Dress, Free People, $98. This tube top dress with tassels is very versatile. It can be worn as a dress or as a skirt, which I love. It is also lightweight enough to wear over a swimsuit.
                                        
   
3. Truly, Madly, Deeply Tee, Urban Outfitters, $24. These tees (which were recently restocked online) are soft and cozy and work well under cardigans or by themselves with skinny jeans for a hassle free look.
   
4. Winter Kate ‘Tilapia’ Chiffon Blouse, Nordstrom, $195. Blouses are big this spring and look great tucked in with a pair of flare jeans. Nicole Richie uses flowy silk fabric for most of her Winter Kate items, which feel amazing on your skin, and this top is no exception.                                   
5. Happy Trials Tunic, Free People, $69.95 (On sale from $118). This gorgeous loose striped sweater is super flattering with its wide scoop neck and slightly flared sleeves. It’s made partially with silk so it will also have a comfy, soft feel. It would look great with jeans in the winter or layered over a dress in the summer. It’s a perfect sweater to achieve that bohemian look. Love it.

Winter Kate and HOH On Sale At Gilt

Winter Kate and House of Harlow 1960, all clothing, shoes, sunglasses, and jewelry lines designed by Nicole Richie, will be on sale today at 12PM EST at Gilt! Nordstrom Rack Winter Kate Find

Although I'm sure everyone is pretty familiar with Nordstrom Rack, I thought I'd share my recent find over this past weekend. I found both the Winter Kate 'Ginger' Burnout Velvet Cardigan and the Winter Kate Meadow Cami in Purple Plume at my local Nordstrom Rack store. The "Ginger' Cardigan originally was $245 and was on sale for $99.98. The Meadow Cami was originally about $100 and was on sale for $39.97.

 

Although Winter Kate is usually pretty hard to find, Nordstrom Rack offers excellent prices on a lot of designer pieces. Usually all items are at least 50% off of the original prices found at Nordstrom's department stores. They feature great deals on designer jeans, like 7 for all Mankind, William Rast, and Citizens of Humanity, and they have great prices on apparel from brands like Free People, Tahari, and Splendid. Their shoe and accessory section is excellent too! I usually always buy my tights here, find great handbags, and have walked away with some killer boots. This is also my favorite go-to store for baby apparel for my friends and family. Who doesn't love a baby Juicy Couture outfit for 1/4 the cost? If you haven't already, you should check out your local Nordstrom Rack for some quality items at very affordable prices.

I don't know about you, but I have been obsessed with Nicole Richie as a designer every since she came out with her House of Harlow jewelry line.
